 FIDELITAS ASSISTANCE LTD - SOFIA - BULGARIA (a company specialized and licensed in assistance only) FIDELITAS PARTNERSHIP established in 1990 by Mr. Zaven Tchilian and Mr. H. Danov is one of the first private companies registered in Bulgaria after the political changes in 1989. The main activity was insurance agency and assistance services. Later Mr. Danov was appointed Minister of the Interior of the first Bulgarian non communist government and he left the company. The partnership was transformed to Sole Trader FIDELITAS - ZAVEN TCHILIAN . In 1992 FIDELITAS - Sole Trader was appointed Lloyd’s Agent and consequently agent for the Institute of London Underwriters, The American Institute of Marine Underwriters and for more than other 500 leading insurance companies all over the world. Because of the vast expansion, for operational reasons and to enable us to provide the level of service that meets and exceeds our clients expectation the structure of the company was reorganized. From June 1995 the Assistance activity was separated into a new legal entity named FIDELITAS ASSISTANCE LTD - specialized in medical, technical and other traveler’s assistance only. For the same reason the agency activity incl. survey and settlement of claims from September 1997 was separated and concentrated in FIDELITAS LTD - VARNA. Both companies are 100 percent private. This page reflects the activity of FIDELITAS ASSISTANCE LTD ONLY. Our assistance practice is unique in Bulgaria. Our multilingual staff (English, French, Russian, German, Italian and Turkish) in Sofia, from where all operations for the country are directed and coordinated is available 24/24 hours 7 days a week.
